We got some black out curtains for Liam’s room today. I really hope that they help him sleep a little later in the morning. These 6AM wake-ups are not fun for anyone.
Project 365 – Day 72
We got out today in between the rain drops to light a couple sparklers before Liam went to bed for the evening. I’m not sure how the night will go, hopefully there won’t be any fireworks in the neighborhood to wake him up. Anyway, Happy Independence Day!
Project 365 – Day 71
Today was quite busy. First we had to get some meat to (potentially) smoke tomorrow for Independence Day. Then we had to go to Liam’s gymnastics class where we then went to lunch at Hondo’s Steak House. My mom was then nice enough to watch Liam for a few hours so we could go see Jurassic World. I’m ready for a day to relax tomorrow.
Project 365 – Day 70
After the day that I had today, this guy is all that matters in life. I love you, Liam!
Project 365 – Day 69
I love this kid’s cheesy smile. He was so proud of himself for putting on his pajamas all by himself. He’s just getting too big.
Project 365 – Day 68
Liam wanted to play pet store today. He’s a little kitten and the dining table is his crate.
Project 365 – Day 67
We spent another afternoon at Lewis Ginter this afternoon. I have to say we are definitely getting the full use out of our passes this year. Today we just decided to walk around the gardens since it was a beautiful day again. I wish it could be like this all summer long.
Project 365 – Day 66
Liam wanted to go to the splash pad at Lewis Ginter today. It was the first time he showed some interest in it so we jumped at the opportunity. He mostly stuck to the outside but would eventually venture into the water. Maybe next time he’ll be even more prepared for it.
Project 365 – Day 65
It was pretty humid most of the morning. Then the flood gates opened for about 10 minutes so we went out and splashed in some puddles. Liam had a ball.
Project 365 – Day 64
What an incredibly stressful day! I had to stick around most of the day because I was expecting a package that contained my new lens that I’ll be renting for a week. Which of course they require you to sign for it. Which also meant that Liam and I spent a lot of time cooped up together in the house. I’m really really really excited about Stephen and mine’s date tonight, because boy could I really use a night out. Plus we have an actual babysitter so we’re not confined to get home before bedtime. I can’t wait!
