I was really hoping to capture the amazing fog we had this afternoon at Lewis Ginter. However, mother nature had a slightly different idea and it started to rain the minute I got there. I still managed to walk around the gardens for a bit (thank goodness for a membership) and then high tailed it out of there. I was drenched but it was still beautiful.

Today we went over to Lewis Ginter to enjoy their GardenFest light display. We had a lot of fun checking out all the different areas of the Garden.

Today I’m thankful for our membership to Lewis Ginter. It has brought us so many memories this year already. I love being able to pop over there for an hour or so and just enjoy the natural beauty.

Gorgeous fall day at the Garden’s this afternoon. It may have been raining, but all of the colors were just popping in the cloudy weather!

This weekend is the last days of the Butterflies LIVE! exhibit at Lewis Ginter. I tried to get over there last night but unfortunately traffic was not my friend. Thankfully I was able to scoot over there this morning before it got too hot out.

We went to Lewis Ginter this afternoon so that we could build some Lego cars to go around this big bike sculpture. We also had the pleasure of seeing a lot of butterflies all throughout the gardens. Even on the way out.
