I always love that Kenzie likes to hang out on the steps. She enjoys rubbing her neck against the railing and she always looks so pretty.

Project 365 – Day 145 – First day of Pre-K
Dear Liam,
Today is your first day of Pre-K. I know I have been anxiously waiting for this day all summer, but now that it had finally arrived, I find myself a little sad. Not because I don’t think that you’ll excel or that you’re not ready. But because I miss you. I miss spending the morning with you and going on adventures. I’ll miss going to Lewis Ginter in the morning to check out the butterflies or to the mall. It seems like just yesterday you were the little baby that we were bringing home from the hospital and now here you are going to school 4 days a week. I know you are going to have a great school year. I hope that you make lots of new friends and learn a ton of new things about the world (because that’s why you go to school according to you). I am so proud of you, little man. And I can’t wait to hear all about how your first day went.

Project 365 – Day 144
Today was Liam’s last day of summer vacation. Tomorrow he starts Pre-K and I can’t wait. Although there is part of me that cannont believe that he is this old. There is a large part of me that is going to miss him, but I can’t wait to hear all his stories and adventures from preschool. He’s going to be great!
Project 365 – Day 143
We spent the day at Stephen’s new office in Shockoe Bottom today. He needed to move a few things from his current office down to the new one so we ended up hanging out in the space for a bit and had some pizza. Then we decided to walk along the Canal Walk (which is literally across the street) and enjoyed the beautiful weather. Overall, not a bad Sunday.

We had the Parent Orientation for Liam’s preschool this evening. I am so excited for him to go back. I think he is going to have a great year and is going to learn a whole lot. His teacher is just fantastic and I know that he is going to have a wonderful time.

Project 365 – Day 138
Today has been pretty productive. I got the table cleared off which meant that I could put my fall pumpkin on it. I also got to hanging up the beautiful Fracture prints that Stephen bought me for completing one third of my Project 365. All in all not a bad day so far.
