Project 365 – Day 106
Liam apparently finds it quite funny when Dad pretends to fall asleep in the middle of reading.
Project 365 – Day 105
I love cloudy days in our house. The light is just so yummy! Liam had a lot of fun pretending that his Batcopter was a spaceship. It’s nice to see some of these old Lego sets making a comeback.
Project 365 – Day 104
There was a very tragic accident involving a Lego “spaceship” and the foyer floor. Thankfully after some consolation he was able to rebuild it (and better than before). Also I still hate my 50mm…
Project 365 – Day 103
I’m still not loving this 50mm. I miss the colors of my regular lens. At least I was able to get some cute shots during bath time tonight.
Project 365 – Day 102
I’m still not liking this lens but that’s to be expected. Hopefully by the end of my 50 days with it, I’ll find a nice appreciation for it again. Or I’ll want to bury it deep down in my camera bag. One of the two.
Liam must have put this puzzle together at least 10 times today. He certain kept him busy and he loved showing me every time he was finished with it. He was just so proud of himself. And because life isn’t all rainbows and unicorns, he also had a pretty nasty bump to the head. Nothing some ice and a few blueberries couldn’t cure though.
Project 365 – Day 101
Today is the first day of my new challenge. 50 days with my 50mm f/1.8. This is going to be more difficult than I thought. It’s very strange to only be able to change the way the framing looks by moving my body. I’ve been spoiled by my zoom lens. One things for sure though, at least 1 person in our family still likes to nap.
Project 365 – Day 100
I’ve made it to my first goal!! Woohoo! 100 days! I’m pretty proud of myself. This is the longest I have ever stuck with a project of any kind. As my image for the day, I present to you Batman, with his “new” camera. Liam just loves taking our pictures with it and then looking at the back to see how they turned out. He’s going to be our little photographer.
Project 365 – Day 99
Liam is enjoying some early morning reading after breakfast. Today is also my last day in the double digits. Tomorrow brings a whole new world of triple digits! The day after tomorrow will also be the beginning of a new challenge for me. I’m going to spend the next 50 days with only my 50mm. I’m going to hashtag it #50withmy50. I’m really excited to get back to this lens after neglecting it for the past 2 years. Bring it on!
