Because I had so much fun yesterday playing around with light, I really felt the need to do it again. I really wanted to make one of these photos my picture of the day, but I felt like it would have been really repetitive to have a photo that was so similar. Today, Liam was playing in the
fort cave again (and yes we didn’t tear it down last night). This time I was able to capture him playing with some of his transformers while inside it. I’m so glad he’s enjoying the fort cave, but I’m definitely looking forward to some time when it’s not raining and we can go outside again.
Liam wanted to with some Play-doh this afternoon after I got home from work. He is really making it difficult to get rid of some of these old toys lately.
Another old toy made a reemergence this morning. I’m surprised that he still fits through it. We also made it out to Ikea this afternoon which is why this update is coming so late.
Sometimes toys like to make a reemergence which always makes getting rid of old toys hard.
Today we spent some time outside since it was actually quite nice out. I guess I’m just going to have to get used to shooting in the sunlight come summer.
Today is Liam’s last day of 3s Preschool. I can’t believe we’re already at the end of the school year. Liam has made a lot of good friends this year and has had 2 amazing teachers. I cannot express how much I love the school that we found for him. He has grown so much in the last few months. I can’t wait to see what next year brings.
Liam has really been into building things all the time and then he likes to destroy them. Today instead of pretending that he was the Hulk, he decided to allow a stand-in.
I really thought that I was going to miss my photo today. Between working all day (taking photos of newborns no less) and then grabbing something to eat, I knew that getting a photo in today was going to be a challenge. Thankfully I was able to capture this sweet moment between Stephen and Liam while they were reading before bedtime today. Sometimes in fun to be the fly on the wall.
I really need to try and focus on taking more landscape photos. It seems every picture I have of Liam is a portrait. There’s nothing wrong with that, but it would be nice to have a little more variety. I guess that’s something to work on over the next week. Here’s Liam with the spaceship he built while we watched the Tigers game this afternoon.
One of Liam’s favorite things to do these days is play with Legos. This afternoon he was using the fire station as a landing zone for his “spaceship”.
