Happy Easter!

Today was a busy one. We had an Easter egg hunt with one of Liam’s friends from school. It was an absolute blast. I’m not sure if I’ve ever seen so many eggs before. And the kids were just great. I’m so glad we were able to enjoy that time together. Then I had to get some stuff ready for Easter dinner tomorrow. And finally, we took a small adventure with the Liss family to Texas Beach. Overall it was a great day with great friends.

I am absolutely in love with this last photo. I love that I’m peaking through the plant life and it’s just a raw moment between Liam and Stephen.

We had the opportunity to dye Easter eggs today. I was really impressed with how independent Liam was with this. I thought for sure he would need more help, but he was very careful and no eggs were broken while dyeing eggs.

When Liam’s cast first came off, he was still a bit cautious about moving and bending his elbow so we were still restricted to short sleeve shirts for a bit over the weekend. On Sunday, we were finally able to convince him to try his Iron Man pjs and much to his surprise, he was able to do it.
