Liam loves to look at this book while we’re riding in the car.
Project 365 – Day 154
Project 365 – Day 153
Liam is having some fun in the Foyer. Also, that firetruck is starting to get a little small for him.
Project 365 – Day 152
The UCI Championships are in Richmond this week. It has been a hassle to get around some but it was also fun to check out the fun. Liam really enjoyed seeing the cyclists going down Monument Ave.
Project 365 – Day 150
Today is my last day with my 50mm. I’m not quite sure how I feel about leaving it behind for awhile. I’m totally excited to use my 28-75mm 2.8 agagin though for this project. I’ve found that I love the 50 for portraits a lot. It delivers beautiful images that are crisp and have gorgeous color. But I’m limited by the focal length. However, limitations are a good thing every now and then. They help us to think outside the box. I hope everyone enjoyed this little side project inside my larger Project 365. Be on the lookout for more challenges in the coming months.
Project 365 – Day 149
Today was Liam’s first soccer game. Overall it was pretty good. I have no idea who won since they’re not really keeping score at this point. He enjoyed the practice a lot more than the game I think though. He wanted to play with his soccer ball instead, but I’m sure that will change over the course of the next weeks.
Project 365 – Day 148
The Force is strong with this one. Also, only 2 more days with this lens
Then vs Now
What a difference a year makes! Last year, Liam was a bit apprehensive about school and wasn’t sure if he was going to enjoy it or not. This year, he went bounding into class like it was nothing. He was so excited and happy to be playing with his new (and some old) friends. I can’t wait to see what this year has in store for us.
Project 365 – Day 145 – First day of Pre-K
Today is your first day of Pre-K. I know I have been anxiously waiting for this day all summer, but now that it had finally arrived, I find myself a little sad. Not because I don’t think that you’ll excel or that you’re not ready. But because I miss you. I miss spending the morning with you and going on adventures. I’ll miss going to Lewis Ginter in the morning to check out the butterflies or to the mall. It seems like just yesterday you were the little baby that we were bringing home from the hospital and now here you are going to school 4 days a week. I know you are going to have a great school year. I hope that you make lots of new friends and learn a ton of new things about the world (because that’s why you go to school according to you). I am so proud of you, little man. And I can’t wait to hear all about how your first day went.
Project 365 – Day 144
Today was Liam’s last day of summer vacation. Tomorrow he starts Pre-K and I can’t wait. Although there is part of me that cannont believe that he is this old. There is a large part of me that is going to miss him, but I can’t wait to hear all his stories and adventures from preschool. He’s going to be great!
